Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Sona (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.

1. The service

Sona lets you train an AI assistant on your website's content and embed it to answer visitor questions and capture leads. Answers are generated from the content you provide; while we aim for accuracy, the assistant may occasionally be incomplete or wrong, and you are responsible for the content you connect and the claims it makes.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must have the right to use and ingest any website content you connect.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service unlawfully, to harass, or to generate harmful, deceptive, or infringing content.
Don't attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or other tenants' data.
Don't ingest content you don't have rights to, or collect personal data without a lawful basis and appropriate notice to visitors.

4. Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe at the price shown at checkout, until cancelled. A free trial may be offered; we may require a payment method to continue after it. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel anytime from the dashboard's billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.

5. Your data

You retain ownership of your content and the visitor data your assistant collects. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service for you. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Availability

We work to keep the Service available but provide it "as is" without guarantees of uninterrupted operation. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

7. Disclaimer & liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost business from missed or incorrect assistant responses.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
